I had a great day learning procedures from the on set paramedic as well as working with a great team.
Following the sell out run of ‘Brit Ain’t Right’ earlier this year, I was cast in Inferna Productions devised play ‘Blurred Lines’. During this process, we wrote and created the piece based on our personal experiences- so this was an incredible opportunity to develop and perform my own writing.
It was a piece that followed 3 different womens’ stories and touched on some of the issues raised by the ever relevant and important #MeToo movement:
—–Blurred Lines—– “We live in a generation where the language of sex has become blurred. In this raw, cathartic devised space- women explore their identities after being affected by the many facets of sexualisation and abuse”.
The play had a sell out 3 day run in Camdens Etcetera Theatre, and not only had a great reception, but may be coming back at some point- watch this space!
I’m so excited to be part of the incredible cast of upcoming play ‘Brit Ain’t Right’. at the Katzpace theatre from 25th-27th March, this will be the movements second play, following its sellout run in October last year. Tickets can be found here, and you can follow us at @Brit_Aint_Right
